Having seen the team go from strength to strength over the last few months, it is such great news to have Simon join Tim in supporting and managing the squad.

Here are a few words from Simon: I have always been really competitive and enjoyed sport to the extent that I would give anything a try.

Whilst at uni, I got invited to try ice hockey having never even skated before and ended up captaining the team 3 years later. In my final year I wanted to try something different and started playing floorball as well. One week after a taster session I was playing in the midlands league and fell in love with the sport, having then moved on from Warwick to play with Milton Keynes and now representing the Cambridge Falcons.

I am so excited to join the men's national team setup. Tim has an incredible passion for the sport and real ambition around what we can achieve with a talented bunch of guys. I look forward to working alongside him and doing my best to ensure we can operate efficiently, enabling Tim to focus on the coaching and put ourselves in the best possible position as a team heading into the next WFCQ.
