Following AGM on 26th May (minutes to be published shortly) it is great to have 'almost' a full house of volunteers making up the UKFF Board. There are two open vacancies, and we'd welcome anyone interested to please get in touch by 30th June!

After a period of uncertainty over the future of women’s floorball in the UK, we are delighted to welcome Sandro & Sarita to the team!

Sandro has been a floorball coach for 7 years & played as a goalie during his childhood. He is head coach of a junior team in Switzerland. Sandro says: ‘to meet the aim of IFF to be at the Olympics in 2028, we need more nationalities who can compete for gold. I would really like to help with this and share my experience with different countries.

I am proud to be a part of the UKFF and am sure that we are going to improve UK floorball.’ Sarita has played and coached floorball for 15 years all around Europe, including Finland, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and UK. Sarita says ‘I’ve always loved floorball and have been passionate about developing the sport. My dream is to see floorball in the Olympics one day.

I’m really excited about my new post as Womens National Team Manager and I can’t wait to start working with my fantastic colleagues to develop women’s floorball in the UK, to build a stronger National Team and to leave the UK’s mark on the International floorball scene. We’ll be working hard on plans & a strategy to get the team restarted, so keep your eyes peeled.

Welcome to the team!

UKFF to appoint a new Chairman.

For UKFF members not attending or represented at AGM, our current Chairman has sadly resigned after 5 years service due to relocating abroad.

We are delighted to have an excellent candidate prepared to join the UKFF board to continue this excellent work developing our sport, but due to illness the post was not able to be formally appointed to by Ordinary Resolution at AGM. In line with the UKFF Articles of Association, the board is preparing to hold a secondary board meeting on Thursday 7th June to formalise the appointment.

As provided for in the rules, the intention to have a board vote to a Directorate role is being publicised 7 days in advance of such a vote, and if confirmed the appointment will be shared with all registered UKFF members for whom an email address has been provided within 30 days of the appointment. If any other candidate wishes to put themselves forward for the post of Chairman in the meantime you are able to do so by contacting Lauren at This email address is being protected from spambots.
